Running -direct -txt by any chance? Also what version mpq are you running? At a glance seems something went screwball with the string tables (since I surely have never seen something ridiculous like that on my side outside of mispacking problems).

--Double Post--
Looking more closely the top few lines are using an out of date description. It appears your d2 is using old string tables.

I have the same issue with some other skill descriptions, and still have the character screen with empty boxes. Any way to solve it without reinstalling ?

Actually if you are running D2SE in high res mode you don't have to do a major reinstall Noga. Just download the high res language mpq file here. http://files.arimyth.com/HU/2HR.mpq

In the Language_2HR folder just replace the 2HR.mpq with the download and it should properly reupdate the high res mode with the proper txt files/string tables internally without having to dig into unusual spots to invoke -direct -txt. It requires knowing how to modify the D2SE configuration file for a mod in order to invoke -direct -txt.

"force -direct" and "force -txt" are not set to 1 in the .ini?

Not by default for the main downloads. Although there's a few out there that have probably changed this themselves.

I've replaced that 2HR language file and still, having the same issue. I made sure I have 2HR selected on D2SEwhen launching the game. Anyways, I'll keep playing without the text inside the boxes :P just looks a lil wierd.

download THIS and extract to your D2SE folder (wont work without d2se as it contains an additional .mpq)

this assumes the main patch is a highres enaled patch (you can download the non d2se lite package and just move the mpq over to your Hu D2SE folder).

Contains clientside edits too packed into the additional .mpq

Uncheck the -direct -txt boxes before you start the mod

I don't really know where the hell I messed up, because I'm sure it's all my fault. But after downloading that and extracting it where you said, still having same issue. I've noticed thou, that the file D2SE_Setup wasn't inside the D2SE folder, it was on the diablo folder. There's another file named the same under the MODS folder and then inside the HU mod folder. I have replaced all of them and still nothing changed. Any idea on where I had messed up? i never had that issue when playing the beta, this issue shown up right after the reset with the final version install.
It's not a real problem to me to have the text boxes empty, but it would be cool to have them with text :P

they weren't in a folder, just the 2 files need moved into your Hu folder inside the MODS folder

It should contain:
1* D2SE_Setup.ini
1* Rages_Edits.mpq

It should then load the additional .mpq with the strings etc that I use
Edit: just checked the description on decrep and its reading "An Evil Force-20 Percent"
I wasn't aware decrep was changed. Though the strings were extracted from one of the new HU patches. I'll check it and adjust it and upload another one later.

Maybe I explained myself bad, when I say DS2Setup file was in a folder I'm always talking on where were those files in my comp. so I could replace them with yours.

Anyways i extrated your files on many places (to make sure they get into the right place xD) but still can only chose between 2HR and MOD on D2SE launcher.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15324396/HU%20S ... %20Fix.rar

ok try that.
Fixed description on decrep and added the self synergy to the desc (1%slow and pierce per 2 hard points)
added hard point synergy info to HoW and SoB

First delete your language folder and existing d2se_setup.ini (any additional ones you have even if they are renamed too) and the batch files can be deleted too.

Just extract the 2 files into your HU folder and run as normal.

Ok deleted evrything but the batch files (since idk wich are this files), and extracted those files. Graphic totally screwed :P so I had to restore the language folder, with the 2HR.mpq it had inside. After restoring it everything was working as before, BUT the cursor is now orange instead of grey.

http://files.arimyth.com/HU/HU1.3b_HighRes_r3_Lite.exe

download that and extract it to a random new folder, then copy the patch_d2.mpq from there into your current HU mod folder.

(gonna zip up a working d2se mod folder as the current linked one is riddled with issues)

sorry the cursor is orange because thats the one that was in my data folder when i packed the additional .mpq. I'll dig out the originals for you if you want later.

The dl is smaller because I use the lite package (no music). If you want music, then you need to download THIS package and copy the patch from that one into your HU folder.

I put my full folder here if anyone ese needs it so they dont have to build it themselves from lots of links

Nice, thank a lot again. And about the cursor, i prefer it that bronze/orange colour. When it's silver I lose sight of it. :P

edit: even thou you uploaded the lite version I still have music.
