Leo,no doubt, is the best choice for goldfind. Remember not to use any cold dmg cuz no body to hork.

Hey. I'm new to this mod, started a barb and I'm trying to gear him up. I like crafting and gems, but they cost a lot of gold. So I was wondering where the best places to run for gold/gems are, and any other tips you might have for me Leoric is great -- with favorable drops and a successful hork I can get 100k+/run The council is...ok. I'm not strong enough yet to run them consistently Any other places I should be looking? Is the countess worth running in norm? (since you always descend the tower by going to the left of the first hallway i can get through there like i have mh) |

the pathway to travincial has lots of champs and the boss there drops a lot of gold. Don't forget the champs in Tristram when you are running leo. Champ monsters = mass gold drops. |

i usually run these wps: inner cloister, arcane santuary, trav, the 3 wps in act4, and frigid highland. i pick up body armors, wands, staffs, and siege items to sell in highest act. it seems faster for me. plus you get to get rare rings/ammys which you can cube 3 of each to get the other rare. based on char lvl. |

It's not just a place, its gear dependent too. Get 2x Glittering sun and socket them with lem/ist runes and use it on swap. GG leoric will drop so much gold you will have to go spend it and come back to pick it all up. Also get 2x Edge rune word and a gheeds fortune so u spend less. Last season I socketed Glory crest and some helmet with full set of wirts legacy for ultimate gold discount and goldfind. |

Wow thats a lot of GF! I'm assuming a good bit comes from 2x glittering something or other with lem's but what does the rest come from? Do GF charms play a big role or can most of it come from gear? edit: forgot to ask about the merc comment. How does GF work in combination with your merc? Thanks for all the information in this thread I've learned a lot. |

This is one of the reasons A3 Lightning mercs are quite popular for gf (they don't shatter corpses and their damage isn't critically based on their gear so they can equip gear like 6xLem crystal swords and still kill Norm or NM Leoric).

OH normal difficulty my bad i didnt see that yea thats a good amount of gold in normal. For efficiency do NM leoric; he gives way more gold, and you can still do him with a lvl 80 char no problem. Hell leoric is just painful and takes forever, but drops facets. |

For Hell Leo it's the best to team with summoner nec with SoB. Amp + thorns thrash Leo to pieces in 3-4 blows, then hork and trade facets. I did it alone with my nec, still missing glory crest but have crafted belt for 7lvl thorns + sob from mgrid - I could get that shield with thorns oskill but w/e. Same deal is for every melee phys bosses - Sarina takes 40secs with summons/sob/amp only. |

All this time i've been playing this mod and I've never really payed attention to thorns skills and items. That changes now my friend, I hereby create 'thorns mule' which im putting suicide branches and blade barrier shields and etc.. Seriously hell leoric dropped in like 5-10 seconds. Efficient if it wasn't for all the physical immune spawns. Maybe if we did a 2-3 man run, and have something to blast him if he's phys immune, like a psn necro or something. Don't know how efficient that will be. |
