@Purerage, i didnt think it was gonna be that long of a walk to sammy haha :p Ive opened the TP for throne of the dead, but cant enter... take it you have to kill baal before you can enter? i remember seeing a comment about sammy after baal on another thread Thanks, Jay |

You're playing solo edition, right? Then it isn't a complete waste of time, as you now know the fastest path to take to Samhain. The area resembling the river of flame took me the longest to traverse (without teleport), over several hours. When I reached the end, I found that I wasn't able to kill Sammy -_-. The vaults themselves are a bit of a pain, as everything in there is undead (thus no leech, unless you have life tap). +life/mana after kill helps a lot there, especially if you can kill the mobs in groups. |

Yea dude, im solo edition! play a zeal pally, i kept the orb portal thing open and went back and did the nila quest and just walked back from the orb portal to the throne of the dead! But like you, i wasnt able to kill sammy... hes 1 tough cookie! pretty much 1 shot killed me. Life is a problem with a pally though! Got any tips? I still need to be baal anyway.. think ima try that first and see if i can get any better loot! Cheers dude Jay |

fire absorb helps a ton on him and as much dr% as you can muster. get a cb weapon and use smite (make fawbringer in a flail and use on switch with a shield to smite him.) res auras work well if you have no other absorbs, though attack speed will drop. |

Ill wear the dwarf star i think... Ima change weapon anyway, im using an up'd ironstone battle hammer atm with normal attack speed, fanatacism is obviously helping but its starting to become less useful! Thanks man |
