So building a smiter. I understand the build except the order to max the skills. Also, do I just find the gear with the most cb in it as I'm leveling? |

yeh dont max smite and syns or IM will hurt. Get crushing blow, 1 in all auras. then whatever you want. |

depends on what you want... no dmg and huge cb or good dmg with decent cb... to me, these are the 2 ways to build a smiter. Smiter is a very initeresting build.. and fun... i have one lvl56 based on dmg and it gets really good dmg and rapes bosses as well as you take care about IM. |

Well I've already maxed smite soooo I suppose I'm going that route. Pretty much a merc build right now, I can't do any dmg. |

build for dmg smiter is: HS fanat Smite Defiance... and dunno 1pt wonders u need combat gcs and with a good gear ull have around 25k dmg or more endgame you must use a holy craft flail (yes flail..to get health since u dont leech and also they have a chance to get crushing blow mod) with 4 fals and if u manage craft a redemp ctc-amp wep u got ur endgame wep '-' (4ber'ed redemp flail with ctc amp yesplz... 18% cb ^^) early on game i did pretty good with mine cuz i was teamed with a HoW druid ^^ so my dmg was pretty good. but if u want to be strong since the beggining, use a holycrafted shield (lvl2 might aura on equip) and use another aura for extra dmg (stack auras ftw) thats my 2cents '-' EDIT: just checked mine and he is doing 3.5k dmg at lvl 56, he is very +skills-dependant since HS is what gives most of the dmg... mine is using the following gear: Najs circlet (3 emerals dont remmenber why... its maybe for max block or something) redemp flail (with 4 fals) lvl5 might shield (2 skulls 2 diamonds) duress armor gtoes magefists lenymo x2 pally rings saracen ammy pretty fun and strong char for normal difficulty.... never had time to get to nm so dunno much later on game |

jeje a kind of selfish skill distribution to have some dmg... i mean no auras etc for party support. max smite and then save the skills till 28 (HS), then start maxing HS and keep saving those skills... once u hit 36, ull keep maxing HS and Fanat simultaneous. once u get fanat lvl10 proceed with defiance '-' defi gives more ed bonus to smite (fanat is only 13% per lvl). try to have a decent merc to help you with trash... perhaps an a3 light/cold or a1 phys. |

damage boost from defiance is not listed. Still, i personally think its a bad route to take in maximising damage of the pallys counter to Iron Maiden. |

the notes refer to non skill IAS. Ie. BoS and fana still work with it. |
