( how to place skill points) what to max: and 1 point wonders never made a frost nova sorc on hu so any pointers would be appreciated thz |

sink maybe 10 into fnova then start maxing synergies, once f armour is done finish nova and then the last 2 synergies, get 1 in mastery at 36 and max it last |

yeh 1 in warmth, Its only worth using ES if you have the points to max TK. You only need 1 in ES and a max TK to make it effective. That would cut down points in your cold skills early on. You could get 10 in TK by level 101 but thats obviously a long way off. So by level 91 you would have all skills maxed and 1 pointers. At that stage you could start investing in TK in order to buff your ES but like i say you would need a decent energy investment and thats not really viable if your not using ES right away. You will however have an amazing amount of def and a nice pdr/mdr boost. The super high def may help keep an ES up and running with plenty 45+ mana charms. Obviously it`ll be destroyed by ele damage though so you may want to let it wear off for bosses like diablo and use diamonds in helm and armour and get absorbs. That would again raise your def a hell of alot and with diamonds in equip you could probs take no real damage until you get into late hell. Once you are in the 90's you could then start going the ES route and swap the diamonds for facets. Thats probs the route I would take in the long run. Diamonds in equip early/mid game will see you through with minimal vita investment leaving you to maybe do a 50/50 vita/energy split. Could be an extremely strong build. |
