Quivers no longer consume arrows. Adding them as unique items would be a nice addition to the game. I hacked those stats quickly together. So any discussion is welcome.

Arrows:
- Level 20 Leather Quiver:
- 10% Faster Run/Walk
- Cannot be Frozen

- Level 40 Marksman Quiver:
- 20% Increased Attack Speed
- 10 To All Resistances

- Level 60 Archer Quiver:
- + 2-4 to Vigor (oskill)
- 25% Chance of Deadly Strike

- Level 80 Bow Quiver:
- +1 to Amazon Skill Levels
- Slain Monsters Rest in Peace

Bolts:
- Level 20 Sparkles:
- 5% Fire Skill Damage
- Fires exploding bolts

- Level 40 Ground Quiver:
- Knockback
- 50 To Mana

- Level 60 Iron Tip:
- 15 to Max Damage
- 15 to Strength
- 15 to Dexterity

- Level 80 Field Quiver:
- +1 to Amazon Skill Levels
- + 100 to Life

balancing aside, this should've been implemented by blizzard ages ago!

But is it possible without too much effort?

Yes I just allowed quivers and bolts to spawn as unique now. The only downside is they have to be allowed to spawn as magic and superior also, but that's not really a huge deal. They will be regular mob drop only, I don't think bosses are coded to drop arrows/quivers at the min.

Edit: any name suggestions or should I just blank out the name so they would just be called "Arrows" and "Bolts" on the unique version. (I suck at naming stuff)

Pierce on arrows isn't needed. Ama passively have pierce from skill. 10 points means 54% pierce. At lvl60 it caps at 75% so it shouldn't be more than 25%. +35/40% or even 50% pierce is too high. But if you want to keep that then you have to reduce it for at least +10/15% and 20%.

If the Lvl 60 Quiver got aura then the Lvl 60 Bolts should so. Give it a 2-4 Blessed aim.

Lvl 80 Bolts vs Quiver. Fana vs Redemption? Redemption not that good as Fana, so switch Redemption to Conviction.

Nobody is going to get a level 60 pierce mate. 25% pierce would be fine for both.


If the Lvl 60 Quiver got aura then the Lvl 60 Bolts should so. Give it a 2-4 Blessed aim.

I'd rather give it 125-175% bonus AR instead of 2-4 blessed aim.

Lvl 80 Bolts vs Quiver. Fana vs Redemption? Redemption not that good as Fana, so switch Redemption to Conviction.
You get very little lifesteal out of pure elemental skills. Thats why redemption is there. A level 1 conviction is equivalent to 25% pierce. If I do that, I have to remove the flat pierce and that kills the variance on the quiver. I'd rather remove fanaticism.

These are cool names and decent ideas, but far overpowered. Probably need a 50-75% nerf.

We have to remember that bowzons are already in a somewhat balanced stage right now without any mods on their bows/quivers. Things like the level 80 quiver with 50+ flat damage, a lot of dext, CB, big ed%, big leech, 3 skills, etc is a huge damage buff.

I think the original proposed unique bows and quivers were in the right range. Something like +1all with 20frw and 25 dext would be plenty for an end game bow. That's still a lot of extra on top of what's already out there.

You need to remember that this isn't like adding new rings/bows/armor. It's a full extra slot and the users lose nothing by choosing these quivers. Every stat is a buff so they need to be reigned in a bit from the suggestions.

I just massively nerfed everything I suggested, so feel free to take a look.
I believe its important to have a lot of stat variance because those quivers are probably going to drop a lot.

unlimited quantity on arrows lol.. its annoying or add replenish. It's a unique you shouldn't have to have 3-4 unique arrows in your stash. if you find one that should be a benefit.. not having to carry so many around.

1.4 introduced non ammo using bow/xbow skills aside from the skills that are hard coded to use arrows (strafe and 1 other i forget) iirc.

I realized I fucked up when I named the level 80 quiver.
For the sake of fitting with the theme of elemental quiver and physical bolts, we should swap the name of the level 80 quiver and bolt.

Athulua is the amazon goddess for seasons and weather and she specifically powers magic arrow, guided arrow and Valkyrie.

Sorry for fucking that one up.

I'm not really sure if I want the style for the level 80 quiver in the game like this. Do you think its genuine having particles on equipment?

Aside from that it's kinda missing it's actual theme.

I am not a fan of that one. It does not fit the over all theme of the mod in my opinion.

I think throwable would work better. It prevents the quivers from vanishing if it drops to 0 arrows.

Its not a pretty stat however.
