Post bugs here. No suggestions, no QQ, no arguing. Just bugs please. I need to be able to find everything fast and it needs to be organised. Balance concerns can go in the main testing thread.

Edit.Poll added so I can see how many are actually testing so I know the info is accurate etc.

Gambling seems off for some reason. At lvl 89 I am gambling elite items in hell A5 instead of exceptional. Anyone else experiencing this?

Intend to work: Coverts 50% physical damage to Elemental damage
How it's work: Do only lightning damage. No elemental damage, no physical damage

(if I am correct elemental damage means lightning,cold and fire in one)

edit: Lightning Fury does damage to Lightning immunes, not like Lightning Bolt

converts to elemental means the element of the skill. In this case, lightning.
It converts 100%, i'll update the description.

Light fury deals the physical damage of the thrown jav.

Portals should be fixed if you downloaded the latest folder (the second link)

Sorc's Elemental Mastery (Cold Focus) has wrong synergy label. It says: Frozen Orb +1% respective elemental damage. However it gains from itself just like the other 2.

edit: Elemental Masteries are broken. I give you an example:
1) Put points into EM Fire then you gain +Lightning Mastery and Cold Mastery.
2) Then put points for example into EM Cold then you gain additional +Lightning Mastery again.
3) And finally put point into EM Lightning to again additional +Lightning Mastery

The order doesn't matter until you put you points last to that element what you want to use (for example Cold). It's because you gain your element (Cold) Mastery from the other 2 and then if you put points into your main element then the other 2 elements' (Cold) masteries what you have already gained will stick with you. So you will not lose them

I hope I was understandable enough :D

The extra mastery you think you are getting is a display bug. Rejoin the game on your test char and see. Check spell damage.

I can't test seriously until I go back home tomorrow morning.There is probably not that many bugs remaining, I hope.

I tested a bit. Didn't see any bugs besides the town portal thing. Stuff in A5 hell still seems crazy strong. Barbs, at least melee don't seem viable in any sort of damage. I hacked one to be super op. Still felt underwhelming at like 140k dmg max dr, absorb, mr%, mr, cb, ds, life etc plus all end game gear 1k all stats. He was certainly tanky for any non-boss, but against any boss he was still garbage. I hope Juv's are were not removed yet because it would make tanking completely impossible.

Necromancer's Skeleton Mastery show too thick fonts. Only occur in windowed mode. In fullscreen mode no problem.

That is the base weapon used for the valkyries weapon. Notice the lack of lvl and str req. It was set to be unspawnable and it still should be.

spawnable just prevents mobs from dropping it and vendors from selling, it can still be spawned via cube.

Yes. As far as I can think there is no way to get these items unless it was spawned with udietoo, like Rage suggested.

OK uploading now, both cores are uploaded, lite patch 50% uploaded. full will likely take an hourish with my shitty isp.

For a final test to make sure everything is packed right, delete your current data folders. Links coming later.

That's intended. Buffs that can be placed on others can't trigger effects like the cold damage when struck or fire a missile at ranged attackers.

I was testing a light sorc this morning and i ended dropping a eth uniq suwayyah, when i ided it ended with the name of : An Evil Force ? was this entended or ! ?

Name fixed. The skill showing up as an evil force was fixed when I rearranged skills.txt and moved moncurse/aura enchanted skills to their own ID.

Just curious. I downloaded the Lite version (Full Clean Install) and I don't have an Attack rating for a sorc I just made. I can't hit anything at all really using Throwing Knifes. Only the Fallen, but that's not very useful lol. I was just wondering if that was just part of being a sorc since I was new or if something was up haha.

If you have 5 dexterity, thats normal. Put a single point in dex and you'll see your AR show up.

With the newest version Energy Shield has synergy with itself and not with Telekinesis. Is this intended?

Can arrows be 'properly' added to the list of weapons available on rogue hirelings? As of now, it just swaps the bow for the arrow. Not sure if this is simple or a severe pain. I know it's too late for this now, but it would be nice.

lol minor bug i found quiet humorous but amazon starter bow only shoots at range when you hold shift otherwise you'll slide right to the enemies lol. i laughed i did test with a bow on the ground, just the started one does this.

It isn't possible to repair/replenish bolts and quivers unless you have an identical one.
Replenish or throwable should be added to those.

It still would not hurt to add it, just for convenience. If I have not been to town in a long time and I have been using strafe, my arrows will get low.

If we could at least get throwable, then the unique quiver/bolt wouldn't go poof if you used them all.

Its such an ugly stat though.

smith runes should recharge them (up to 255). If i set throwable, they'll show 0-1 dmg and very slow attack speed. Not a big deal I guess.

K scratch that last post. I just removed the hardcoded cap on quantity (511) and increased it to 2000. Added cube recipes to restock unique arrow/bolt quivers to 2000 using "Arrow Heads" and "Arrow Shafts". I'll do the same for throwing axes, knives and javelins later in the week.

Will be added for next major patch.
Bow skills will consume ammo again.

mmm i was playing on a MA sin single player in Normal difficulty this morning, i ended up in Jail lvl1 i killed a bunch of ennemies, some death clan a berserker i cant remember exactly wat was in ther but i received a drop of over 1351026G from something in the bunch. not sure if i am the only 1 who this happened before ? i made many testing from 1 / 5 and playing around also testing builds... its the first time this happen to me but i though you could probly wanted to know it !

Champs/Berserkers give a lot of gold base drop, add in goldfind and you could easily be seein 100k+ normally from packs.

actualy it was a lvl 21 sin in normal wit about 40 % gold find ? they usualy drop 17k gold in norm to 30k 40 % of that dont make it 1 300 000 G lol

Hinky and me was chilling in the op coming patch on tcp ip, and we decided to step to travincial ? mmm i think he heirophant do like 6 time for dmg then any a5 mobs lol .... im usauly able to tank a lot of dmg and those guys 1 or 2 shot me wit lightning but blizz do like -10X less dmg ... probly we need to check this out

haha alright. i knew something was going on :| so to every1 that play hc ... watch out to those heirophant dmg is simply insane ... well its the same as the current patch i guess ?


side question: can it be patched in the Next ladder or it will be on the reset as well ( no this 1 but i guess the next 1 ? )

-Sword mastery, etc can be rolled on rares. Is this intended?
-In area right before council (bonebreaker or whatever unique), there is now a spot where you can get stuck if you pop the corpses. I think a tile was taken out of some of these (so you don't get stuck in a corner. It needs a replacement floor tile.

Yeah if it drops with that stat, it loses its fast regen in favor of the garbage one, and once it gets down to 0, it doesn't regen at all.

the thing is it doesnt replenish at all. once i got the "low" quantity icon id swap it out for a different one while it sat in my inventory and it stayed at 11 so idk.

Regards to the pally skill blessed aim, the life steal passive doesnt appear in the stat menu, also when i hit anything i dont notice any life steal animation happening. i am too early into the game to know for sure if its not actually giving the life steal, but i dont think it is, either way, if it can be fixed, it'd be awesome if you can get it to appear in the stats menu, cheers.

Ok i found the problem, the life leech properties arent applied if blessed aim is active, im not sure if thats intended. but when i switched to using might for example, i was able to life leech and it was displayed in the stat menu

Blessed Aim was intended to work this way. It was added a few patches ago as a smallish buff to the skill. Could use a distinction in the tooltip.

I'm 2 for 2 on rare throwing weapons having repair durability mod(one knife one jav), making them not regen at all.

Also, Gale Force is spawning on helms in stony/dark woods, giving them lvl 36 req

Blade fury currently gets 0 synergies. :\

and half damage seems like a lot. 3/4s should be sufficient with 20% dmg ... the character went from being insanely OP... to being pretty useless... the only thing that needed to be changed was the NHD

Yes i made few tests on single player if u want deal any damage to trash use venom. Ofc 162% prebuffed. Without poison part i made run on 20x damage 450 damage claw and crit from claw. Damage on trash from blade fury was just bad 2.5k dps+

Final note: It was dropped as low as it was because I was well aware of how little testing was actually going on. Would it be worth the risk to have a skill that scales so fast due to the way the additional damage is added go live without it being tested in multiple stages of the game?
This was the last update you will get for a while so it went in underpowered. There are tons of underpowered skills in the game. They don't cause massive game balance problems though. 1 skill being way overpowered does and I wasn't willing to take the risk. So you got an underpowered version.

It takes 60 points to maximize the damage on it, (BF, claw mast and venom) and it spreads the damage over a large area. Compare it to frozen orb build + account for claw block, fade, hp gap, leechability, D sentry, CoS and summons vs sorc survival tools. That's the benchmark for it's output. You have the entire patch to get a feel for how much it should be doing.

Now that I realize there's no synergy I'm running an MA sin with trap for trash.. it's working well... tiger strike and dragon claw do well for single target and 20 points to blade fury... it's not the best thing in the world but its doing fine in normal so far.

on the next patch I'd say just make it 7/8s weapon damage and you're good to go. No reason to be a dick to anyone chlebo. I made my post without the realization that the synergy was removed that was my fault.

A2 hell wyrms need to be toned WAY down. Their rabies is insane. We are going to try hatestorm room again tomorrow. But dang those things are strong. It was a triumph when our party of 6 managed to get off 3 guided arrows into one before dieing.

Checked again blade fury on 480dmg claws with 30 deadly 1300%ed. Yes it s fine on trash and good with venom.
Blade shield does not profit from %ed?

yeah I think as long as you don't made a blade fury build such as maxing sent / shield like before its a great supporting skill.


but to your point rage.. I'd use multishot as a baseline instead of orb. 1/2 damage was probably too much of a nerf for the next patch.

Things I've noticed in Hell that could be considered bugs:

1.) Wrym's TORNADO/TWISTER is the op skill. The rabies isn't that bad with max resists, but even max dr, tornado's basically oneshot everyone.

2.) Heirophant's lightning as is already known is holyshit op. Plox nerf thx.

3.) Mephisto has way more health than seems reasonable in comparison to other act bosses. I think a 40% reduction on her hp would be reasonable. Needs more testing though as we are the only group to have fought her. Maybe her resistances are just a bit wack.

4.) Darkness instagibs anyone basically on screen with him.


Personally I think the boss rooms should be reverted. Having them the size they are now limits a lot of things and results more in just zerging your dps' than in having a team strong and geared to do it in an appropriate way. Right now, almost all of the hell act bosses and sub bosses feel like zerging is the only viable approach. This shouldn't be the case...

Nanos don't one shot with high Dr but they will almost kill you. Hell is ridiculous right now and needs heavy balancing but I think Mrawskrads patch fixes most of these issues

The last 3 Portal Shrines I found didn't work. I guess some areas are "turned off" or something? They were in WSK, Canyon of the Magi and Dark Wood or something near that.

Another fun thing to note is that one spawned in the Nightmare challenge map, and it actually worked.

Any reason why Mephistopheles would disappear on us? Spent nearly 2 hours fighting him alone. Got him to 20-30% and then bam gone.

And, quite a bit to get there in the first place in hell.
