I have begun to transfer some information from these forums and my MrFixitOnline.com website to a strategy website for this community. You can view it at:

http://blue.arimyth.com/

As such, I will be removing stickies from this forum as they are incorporated in to the Strategy website.

awesome site bro (used your forums regularly anyway)

one thing wrong about the crafting, i tried to craft me some juicy power rings (20-40 dex) and ammies last night.

lvl 95 gambled rings/jewels with MS saphires, all i got was +12 (on 4 rings max was 13) dex, the ammy was +24 mind you, but thats a common occuring magic/rare modifier aswell.

dont know what the actual paramaters are, but far less than 20-40.

Looks interesting, nice job and good work.

I see the bosses reference has been not implemented yet, how do you wanna set the framework up for that page?

I would be interested in knowing about act bosses the following things atleast:

* Attacks
* Resistances
* Strengths
* Weaknesses
* Good guides to the 5 act bosses in the three difficulties

I'll be interested without binding myself to it to contribute with material about an act boss.

no real plans, I know that PureRage wrote up a nice article on dealing with Diablo and I have a page on Boss Resists (that is probably a little out of date)

I encourage folks to write something up though.

I can offer my own strategys for the act 5 bosses much the same way i wrote up the diablo fight strategy. What skills each class should be using to help the whole team, wht equip is best suited and the best way to deal with the bosses attacks. I'll spend some time doing a seal bosses one too. The bosses before these i always find require very little strategy and rather boring, I'll put what i can together for these but chances are a1-2-3 bosses strategys will be rather shorter than act 4-5

coolio!

Rather than working on my personal content, I am going to try and run through what others have already written and format it to fit on a website. That seems like the best way to get the most strategy posted in the shortest amount of time.

considering act5/baal quest in particular takes about half the time that doing acts 1-4 combined, i think its fair majority of the strategies reside there lol.

im in no rush to see character builds on there (concrete ones) im more for placing character ideas on there, thus forcing people to actually think and decide for themselves, as opposed to the normal, place xy skills and yx stats whilst using xxy equipment... i mean hell if people cant work out how to make the build thats there problem eh.

again tho great site, makes it easy for me to find my weapon speeds :D

A few of teh crafting issues seem to be off a bit. Can someone post up the text file for this and I will get it updated?

What format can I post it in? Seems it doesn't want me to attach a file. You should be able to view it here at least. I'll remove this once you have done your thing.

Crafting page updated for latest patch. Highlights include:

1. increased thorns dmg on Power crafts
2. decreased dex boost on Power jewelry
3. %Enhanced Dmg decreased on all Moonstone weapons
4. decreased str boost on Blood Shields
5. MDR/PDR increased on safety armor
6. % ED on most Death items decreased
7. IAS now progresses properly on death helms, boots, belts, & shields
8. IAS boost on Death gloves, amulets & armor decreased (sux)
9. Increased Curse Duration added to all death items (cool idea)
10. Negative penalties on death items increased
11. Increased Attack Speed decreased on Death weapons
12. Moonstone Holy items slightly fixed (still kinda goofy)
13. Magic dmg increased on Holy weapons

Incidentally, I am not sure how well the Death Craft items actually appear. I copied the information from the text file, but it seems that in practice items are a bit different.

For example, i crafted some Death gloves for the IAS boost and rather than getting a penalty, I got a 21% defense boost on the gloves. It is entirely possible that the 21% defense just happened to spawn on the gloves. I also see no mention of the curse duration increase and I don't think I would be able to measure a 4-8% increase.

on sapphire crafts. att != att%. The recipe isn't % based. :shock:

On death crafts. ya def bonuses are pretty common in crafts (any armors) unless he has excluded them, which I doubt that he did.

As for curse duration. If it lasts 1 min, then 8% is like 5 seconds. Kinda hard to notice in either case (around obk's etc, or some random amped dude).

OK - so on the sapphire crafts, I have it correct in the weapons, but incorrect on the general aspect that applies to all the sapphire crafts?

I am actually pretty sure that the defense penalty isn't applying to the death crafts as I crafted a set of gloves that had two sets of enhanced defense bonuses.

1) correctomundo
2) you may actually check the boot recipe to see if the slower hit recovery is acting properly...or really, all death crafts. If this is wonky, then it is likely that the 'resistcurse' tag is not well liked...you didn't have these problems in former patches, correct?

There are several things that can cause errors on other lines, not seemingly associated with them. This could be one of those things.

one thing I thought about with death crafts. min max columns may be flipped if values are negative. The way they are now, I think the max is a more negative number...which really is the min. Maybe this is okay with some things and not with others.

Example: AC% 10 20 (mod, min, max)
AC% -10 -20 (mod, max, min)...does this need to be
AC% -20 -10 (mod, min, max) on one or more recipes?
I am not really sure since I don't mess with death crafts. I'd need to know which ones are really not working to tell.

ah - you mean in the text files and not on the website.

not really sure, but perhaps that is the reason it isn't working.

Wow, great website! Thanks Blue. It's really well done, and aesthetically pleasing, plus easy to use the weapon speed calculator. I've been looking for a decent one for my melee zone that actually makes sense. Kudos, keep up the good work!

Strategy page for fighting Diablo is now posted ("bosses" tab is now active). Keep those strong strategy posts rolling in and I will work on beefing them up in to guides for the site!

Also - if people have additional insight on Diablo they want to share, please feel free to post it and I will get it rolled in to the strategy guide.

I wrote these up while I was away for xmas. They are the strategys for a few more of the act 4 bosses. I just put together what I personaly do for each build and what I would suggest to a new group of players if I joined them for any of these bosses. Pick through them for whatever you need. I was far to drunk while away to manage puting together tables etc. or I would have. I`ll do a lazarus one (I dont think an izzy one is needed but I can put my usual strategy together for him if you want him).
I`ll do all the act 5 bosses next, whenever I have some spare time. If you want other acts I can do them too but again I personaly dont think they are needed. Perhaps I`ll put together a basic "all boss" strategy highlighting the main things each class should be doing on all boss fights. That would be of more use than one for the lower act bosses individualy.
I can do either though.

yep - known issue. It is one of the things that I hate about frames and I am trying to come up with a viable solution for people with smaller monitors.

Neither did I :). It was only when Zevix showed me her gear (for recommended changes) that I realized there was a 3rd option for 4 socketed armor with CBFrozen. Normally there's only Nat's and BlackHades. Blazers will greatly enjoy the Emerald craft, since it saves them a lot of strength, and gains them a little bonus dr/mdr.
