I can't tell you for sure, but out of ~10 crafts the highest I've rolled is -16. Plenty of -12/-13/-14/-15 as well. Fairly sure -16 is the max, but it could just be my luck.

magic mastery% is broken is more than just 1 way, its clientdisplay won't work, and its effect works only for a hand full of skills (server side, even if it works for the skill you are using, the client display isn't updated).

Actually there's more than one problem with the CLOD magic mastery %. It's not just simply a matter of displaying properly. It boosts magic damage in an incorrect manner. It boosts additively on the same stage of skill hardpoint psynergies. In order for it to double a skill's damage for a skill with two 25% boost psynergies that have both been maxed you would literally need 2000% magic mastery % in order to accomplish the damage doubling (instead of the normal 100% other masteries would accomplish it with).

While magic mastery can technically be fixed it would require a brand new item stat and a special not so simple psynergy calculation that makes use of the new item stat (It's been done with great success and no problems whatsoever in Trevor's mod).

If its really such an easy txt fix then why hasn't Brother Laz included such a fix in his mod for the longest of times? (and Brother Laz is pretty much a soft coding/txt master as far as modders go) I suspect the bug with the CLOD magic mastery % is hardcoded in nature.

it is, you need to make a new stat and add it to the synergy column for all magic skills with a formula to apply it in the propper way. (dont want to use the regular stat as it applys to some skills already so best to just keep away from it altogether).

I assume laz isn't using the exact formula for gains as other masteries are if its not working right. That would be because he ran out of space in the calc columns (I know I had to use 2 calc columns + the synergycalc column to get the correct gains due to absurdly long calcs for synergys already). That gives you up to a 765 character long space for a formula :).
