Why is there a summon cast delay on molten boulder? this makes absolutely no sence to me. i recast oak and have to wait. if i decide to get bear... well fucks me.

would these type of fire dru revamps be possible or over kill:

-Speed boulder up alittle. maybe like old ice bolt speed.
-No Summon cast delays on boulder....
-also make cyclone armor the first skill of that tier so its an easy 1 pointer.
-possibly make the bolder kb more monsters. they explode on almost everything to me. or something to make up for the fact that they dont peirce like nado. maybe 3 bolders total at hard point lvl 20.

maybe im being pre mature and shoulda gone cano. i dont know. just looking to discuss fire druids in general

maybe 3 boulders would be overkill but. how would boulder dmg stack up with meteor with the same lvl and same amound into syns? i have no idea myself.

are all the things posted easily done?(not hard coded)

I've noticed on the Fire Druid... armageddon and firestorm are stand out skills and volcano and molten boulder are VERY under powered and the physical damage is almost useless.. would be awesome if the phys dmg on either was trash worthy. The only sufficient 2ndary skill is firestorm and kind of takes out the caster portion of the druid and integrates it more into a melee/caster.. nothing wrong with that I guess but regardless would still be nice to volcano and molten improved a bit.. I have the best possible gear and they are still very under powered and mediocre I'd say. Early on they were pretty good though.

I would ask steel about his fire druid and see how well he rolls with it.

boulder druid is still only 45 but he has top top low end gear. but still seems massively under powered if compared at all to a windy at his lvl and gear or even a meteor sorc he seems to suck. If the explosion was identicle to a meteor explosion dmg wise i think that would help.

this is a major issue with no CD on boulder. Keep in mind that a buff to volcano willalso buff marilyths etc too since they also use it. Not tht I'd be against buffing volcano, it still seems garbage compared to the other skills and just causes insane counters on any meaningful boss.

one of my team had a fissure drui and he changed to complete firestorm because of fissures uselessness.

i dont really want cano buffed. i want boulder buffed :P cast delay is fine as long as the explosion would be comparable to meteor and the phys dmg was worth it

firestorm causes no counters but don't stop the boss healing. Fissure seems about the same as volcane and pretty much works the same too with a diff graphic.

Some of the skills seem really weird when tested in single player. The problem I have with it is that you lack a spell that deals with boss like monsters and bosses themselves.

If fire druids had something like meteor or blizzard they would be too good though.

Imagine sitting back in wearbear form+oak at some obsene amount of hp for a caster and putting a rock on your mouse button and go do the laundry.

can u cast all fire skills in bear or wolf form? if so then that should be changed. and then just buff boudler dmg to that close to meteor and u have a winner fire caster option. eh?

I suggested this quite some time ago. I've always liked this idea. I've even made the skill before. 'Just' clone blizzard, give fire sound effects, 'geddon missile meteor visual, and change damage to fire. (blizzard has like 4 lines or something in missiles.txt). I probably have a readme stashed on it if anybody ever wants to implement it.

just redo to windy dru if don't like fire as it is. It's totally different build, maybe he lacks of dmg windy posses, delay on everything but it's fun to see all these fireworks.

yes, missiles vulc produces works like a fissure, vulc as it is works more like meteo with massive counter rate, but hell, it rapes wyrms.

The way to ensure it gets in is to take the time to build/test the skills yourself and zip up your text files.

But yes - i am unlikely to tackle this project anytime soon if ever as I don't know how to mod skills.
