I could use some help testing out runewords.

*update - all runewords are now complete and are included in the zip file*

I know that many of the new rune properties aren't listed on the website yet (such as the new elemental dmg). i can worry about that after the patch gets out the door.

To help test things here is a zip file that contains:
- modified gems.txt
- modified runes.txt with new crafting formulas
- modified misc.txt that allows Akara to sell all gems/runes/jewels for 1g and charsi to sell sockets for 1g
- modified monstats.txt that changes treasure class of blood moor monsters

Process to install:

1. BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL TXT files
2. download the zip
3. extract the txt files to your Diablo II\Data\Global\Excel folder
4. run the game in single player (edits won't work on realm)

Note - you need to be running the latest version of Hell Unleashed (1.21z) in order to do this testing. This is the version that you SHOULD be using on the realm anyways, so update if you aren't using it. 1.21z can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=596

Let me know what you find.

Currently I've check all runewords from Critter's site starting at the top and going down. So far I've gotten to "Knights Vigil"

"Decay" - named "Despair" in game
"Edge" - good
"Graverobber" - named "Dread" in game
"Innocence" - good
"Thunder" - good
"Bone" - good
"Enlightenment" - good
"Insight" - good
"Knight's Vigil" - %dr is still 15-20% instead of 5-10%
"Lawbringer" - good
"Loyalty" - This is in any weapon, not just melee weapons
"Mist" - cold absorb is 12-15% instead of 3-5%, Damage Reduced is 20 instead of 10
"Mystery" - good

Can you give a list of those that still need checked? It would be easier, instead of matching what you have then figuring out what you need. :)

Crescent moon - well it's just 50-60 ias(change that on web, have 2 the same mods, it's confusing)
Strength - Gives +masteries rather than +combatskill(barb)
Bone - Hm, this is broken, so switch t1param5 cast2 30 30 and t1param6 charged 78 32 16 SS:

Lust - no +skill or aura on wear, remove light(it's silly) and add it, can also remove extra faster run walk if you want vigor. Or remove lower prices, combined with 2x edge and gheed it will only be shoper armor rather than MF.

a lot of early rws have bad psn (on web) listened but that's due to tal change. I'll try later only rws you changed something.I'm testing it in game and when something's wrong I look into files
Desire - 26%res +fire/light dmg from ohm/vex

Armageddon - still +10fire mastery
Hatred - still OW, no 10%dr
Heaven's will - still 50% ias, Medi lvl6, 250-500 cold(cham?)
Judgement - +magic dmg from sur
Last Wish - isn't working bcos you forgot to remove r31 from rune6, after fixing it's OK
Temptation - Isn't working fully, you left t1code4 empty - you CAN'T do such things, as game skips the rest of properties when see a single error. Btw. Replenish isn't needed if automagic is updated.
Time - it's ctc 25lvl mind blast when struck, 50-60 passive pierce...
Vengeance - +15 charge(is 10 on web) works in zon spears(neat!)

These were all zod runewords, if there're some minor errors like +10more psn over 2 sec longer don't bother, IMO.

Edit: Also If you want to test your new Uniqs
Open Cubemain.txt, add or change already existing formula
input= "hpot,qty=2"
output= holycross (item names you pick from uniqueitems.txt index column)
lvl=99
In game mixing any 2healing pots gives you your uniq.
I usually change 2x arrows = uniq for testing something. Hope this helps.

I'v began from where Brevan ended so from Lawbringer, ended at Peace for now, i'll be testing more l8er now time to report.
I will report any but, first value is value on website second in game it'll look like this: Value[xx]-[yy] where xx is website value and yy is in game value. ok let's start
Lawbringer:
    Dexterity-[30]-[15]
Lionheart
    Strenght-[15]-[25]
Lore
    Calculating from webstie Resist should be:
    F-15%, C-15%, P-15, L40%
    Ingame they are:
    F-15%, C-15%, P-15, L-27%
Loyality
    Dexterity-[30]-[15]
Melody
    It gave me 261% ed so it is not same as max website (250%)
    Increased Run/Walk Speed-[10%]-[20%]
    Dexterity-[30]-[15]
Memory
    ED-[25%]-[20%]
    Target's Defense-[-25%]-[-50%]
Mist
    Cold Resist-[50%]-[24%]
    IRS-[10%]-[20%]
    Missing DR-[10] Ingame this mod don't exist on this rw
Obedience
    ED-[300%]-[330%]
    Missing: 200-400 Defense and Resist All 10-20 both ingame missing
    Target's Defense-[-25%]-[-50%]
Peace
    IRW-[10%]-[20%]

I will edit this post when find something new, and i was using Blue's patch website for doing checks. Check every RW ingame not in files :D

Crescent moon - sorry, when I built the website one of the first things I had to do was separate properties that come from runes from properties that come from the txt file. Otherwise it was too unclear what I could change and what I couldn't and how many lines of code I still had available. Sadly though that creates things like Crescent moon where 2 of the same mods are listed. Fixed now

Strength - fixed.
Bone - fixed
Lust - fixed
Desire - website updated
Armageddon - fixed
Hatred - fixed
Heaven's Will - fixed & website updated
Last Wish - fixed
Temptation - fixed
Vengeance - website updated

website updated with new value of Ko changed which impacted the following from your list:
- lawbringer
- loyalty
- melody

Lionheart - fixed
Lore - website updated
Melody - website updated, I forgot nef now gives 20% ED
Mist - website updated
Obedience - fixed
Peace - website updated

zip file has been updated with these changes

What is still to test? Im gonna help to get the patch out quicker (even if I start this mod a bit too late to have my ideas on the patch XD Poor chanter they would really need viable summons oskill or charge on items).So is there a list of test to do ?

pretty much any of them, never really know where an error is going to pop up. At this stage, it is better to be over testing rather than worrying about overlapping work because we can actually get things fixed now, but if we miss something it will be stuck with us for months.

All the runes & sockets are available at vendors, so just fire up a game and make some runewords and let me know if any of them don't match the website.

Sounds like my D2 is not the same as yours XD I dont have data foldier in my DiabloII , I dont have any foldier in it except saves :P And I assume the new lists would have overwrite the other ones if they had to, or do I have to change names?

where are the original txt files that im supposed to back up? my program files/diablo 2 folder does not have any data folder

downloading single player now then.

new edit, okay i understand now and that update installed and backed up and replaced the txt files

sounds like you need update 1.21 z: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=596 (which is the version you should be running on the realm anyways)

You don't need the single player version.

Phoenix - remove rune4, fire abs is still 20% dmg is 350 due to ohm
Edit@Down: I pretty much started all high runes rws, only possible bugs can be due to runes changes or when removing one rune.
Rain - hp is 75-100 in files

make sure you are launching the game from a shortcut with the following in its properties: -direct -txt

... That pretty much from High to Zod, Tested only rws something was red or green, still it can vary somehow, as it is hard to catch small mistakes/bugs etc.

i'm checking ingame very single rw cos i'v alredy found bug in one that looks like untoched but it has changes. Blue or Steel if it is possible edit txt files that charsi and akara spawn only white items no magic, it'll make my checks twice faster.

Every item they can spawn, means wand, staffs, orbs, armors, helms, maces, scepters, polearms, spears and bows.
And what i can say for now that Truth RW is broken. I post rest when i come back, have to pick up my gf :D see ya in an half hour within more details.

Charsi has infinite amount of quilted armors/caps and buckers, also 2h mauls, bows swords scepters and wand iirc. If somethings more is needed pm. Forgot to change prices... I'll reupload and add orbs etc. in a sec
Edit: now ok, some items spawn with mods adding price, I don't want to spend more item on it to lower it to 1 on every :D use editor and giveyoursefl 5mil gold :P

Bone - remove Space after Charged as item won't spawn with bone wall and red mag dmg :P. This rw is broken now 2years due to that space.

Well in latest this isn't fixed and spawns without charges/magic red. That's so weird RW I must say :]. After changing "charged " to "charged" works ok. Try to test it again ;/. Must do rw from begin.

-Whisper has 2x skill-tab, should be skilltab
-Wrath misses some mods because of empty spaces from deletion deadly strike
-Coh = Bound by Duty, DolUmBerIst instead of DolUmJahIst (doc)
-Pestilence for some reason gives me 58% open wounds instead of 33%, even though it seems ok in runes.txt (?)
