Steel has updated all the Set items to match the patch website and we could use some eyes on them to make sure everything is correct. The technique is a little different, but still pretty painless:

The zip file contains:
- modified sets.txt
- modified setitems.txt
- modified cubemain.txt with cube formulas that generate set items
- modified misc.txt that allows Akara to sell all gems/runes/jewels for 1g and charsi to sell hammers for 1g (handy to get crafting supplies)

Only high lvl sets were adjusted, normal sets were left alone.

Process to install:

1. BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL TXT files
2. download the zip
3. extract the txt files to your Diablo II\Data\Global\Excel folder
4. run the game in single player (edits won't work on realm)

Once you are running the game, you can create set items by putting two runes in your cube and transmuting them. The formulas use runes Tir-Hel in the following manner:

2x Tir = first 1/2 of trang set
2x Nef = second 1/2 of trang
2x Eth = ...
2x Ith = ....
.....
2x Hel = ...

Once you are done with the 2x Hel, you need to go to 3x Tir.

So you get:

3x Tir = first 1/2 of some set
3x Nef = second 1/2 of some set

Make sense? Should be a pretty quick way for you to generate all the sets.

If you want to put the sets on, you will need to have a high lvl character who can wear them.

As always, thanks to everyone who joins in the testing - it really does help to have more eyes on the items at this stage so that we can catch the bugs.

I'll test first 3 sets before sleep.
Trang - seems fine but whole set on hell gives me res -30/20/0/0 as fire/cold/light/psn Troll Belt should give +30%cold(on web it was 50 so I missed it) and one item give +30fire.
Natalya - Armor reduced poison by 75%, should be 50% (wasn't colored, sry ;( ) Boots should give +10dex (now 20)
Aldur - everything's fine.
IK - Armor gives +2combat, web says +2masteries, also it has +50%psn, should it be 30?
Belt - +2combat, should be 2 masteries(imo leave it be lol), +1%cb should be on full, just move it to "aprop5a"
full should give 5%ctc (is 25%)
Tal -OK
Griss -Inc max life 30% - forgot that partial have 10% already, just change it to 10%, partial with full will give 20% total
M'avina - 101% correct unless I'm blind.

Naj's:
Naj's Puzzler: game: +1 skills, doc: +3 skills
Naj's light plate: graphic is not the same in game and doc
Naj's circlet: this is now a grand crown so maybe rename?
4%ctc lvl 16 chain lightning is on attack in game and on striking in doc
also str req is 104 in game and 103 in doc.

Soulmancers:
graphics not the same in game and doc
str req 152 in game, 150 in doc
def in game = max def in doc + 4

Elemental set:
On struck procs are 25% lvl 25 in game, 5% lvl 50 in doc

Disciple:
Boots: +10 mana after each kill in doc but not in game

edit:
Dragoons teaching: 350% dmg undead in game 300% in doc
Haemosu's cuirass: 1 socket in game, 3 in doc

Hehe, +10 mana after kill was when having 2 items on, I haven't touched it :P
As for cuirass - yeah, when I was removing one mod from it had to fill it with something, added sock but forgot 3 3

The first numbers will be what is on website, and second numbers are ingame numbers

Only tested class sets

Trang-oul's Avatar
Helm- +100 mana/ ingame +50 mana
Shield- website text error, forgot to add (4 Items Equipped) to replenish life +20
Glove-+15% to Poison Skill Damage (Full Set Equipped)/ it gives it on 3 piece instead

Griswold's Legacy
Weapon- +500% Damage to Undead/ +541% Damage to Undead(not sure if it adds the orginal +50 from septers and max is 541%. made a few and all the same %)
Full set bonus- increase max life +20%/ increase max life +30% (i think this shows up together, not sure)

Tal Rasha's Wrappings
Looks okay

M'avina's Battle Hymn
armor-text error, when hit/i think when struck is better, people might confuse it with attacking/striking(it shows struck in game)

Immortal King
Helm-missing 1 barb skill
Armor-text error, hit/struck | 2 masteries/2combat skills
Belt-full set gives 2 combat skills/ingame is 2 masteries
Boots-2 masteries on 3 equipped/ 2 combat skills | 1% Chance of Crushing Blow (Full Set Equipped)/it is on 5 equipped instead of full
Partial set 3 equip-5% cast chain lightning/ingame 25%

Aldur's Watchtower
partial set lost 12% Life Stolen per Hit (4 Items Equipped) and Regenerate Mana 25% (4 Items Equipped) as in not showing up for me

Natalya's Odium
Boots- +10 dex on 2 equip/ingame +20 dex still
Partial set- +100% Enhanced Damage (3 Items Equipped)/ingame is +200% EDamage
partial set lost Fire Resist +25% (4 Items Equipped) and +25% Faster Hit Recovery (4 Items Equipped) as in not showing up for me

it seems like partial set that requires all of them equipped dont show up on mine, not sure if it works with others.

The Disciple
Glove- +30-40 to Life After Each Kill/ingame its each demon kill
Boots- +10 to Mana After Each Kill/ acquires it on 2 equipped
Partial set- loses +15 to Vitality (5 Items Equipped)

Heaven's Brethren
Weapon- Cast Level 4 Teleport/ its lvl 1 ingame
+100% Damage to Demons (3 Items Equipped), the 2 equip one works, but not this third one
+100% Enhanced Damage (Full Set Equipped) this shows up on 3 equip

Shield- Cannot be Frozen (Full Set Equipped)/ it shows up on 3 equip'
Armor- 3 sockets/ingame 1 socket
Helm- Replenish Life +66 (3 Items Equipped) shows up +33 on 2 equip
doesnt show on web/ingame +2 all skills on 3 equip

i think that should be all of them.

Same was with trang for years, meteo was added as a 5th piece but set has only 5 pieces, meaning you have to add it as Full. Same with Aldur, 4pieces and 12%ll is when wearing 4items, should be full, there is one place left for it, but will have to lose regen-mana then.
As for Soulmancer's set - I don't get it. Set is supposted to give 50% res total or 75? Patch suggestions says 50% when full but partial is 25% also, I lowered it to 25% and 25% full giving 50% when combined all properties (now gives 100). Dunno if that was the idea - forgot about this on Griss(well I didn't change this, so it's 30% as it was before)

Same as for Aldur/Trang, have to move it to full.
Hflame - Thanks for testing, you addressed all issues there were with wrong item set desc, unfortunately most of these weren't to change, as noone tested it before - for example Ele set was only changed % but hit/striking/struck is as before(forgot about 2nd %% tho)

yea, sorry i couldnt test them earlier, i didnt have time til these few days. and even then there were time frames i couldnt do much.

sadly Critterkiller's is a good guide, but does get stuff wrong some times.

Should be OK now, maybe few mistakes which wasn't addressed previously. BTW. Soulmacer set is 50%all res, was 100%, that's ok? :] You should update soon your website with summed up Full bonuses(partial + full) as it's confusing when editing something w/o general idea how you wanted to adjust it.

Fixed it so that the complete set gives you +75%. Still a nice set, you just need to complete it to get the large bonuses rather than only use 2 items of it.

Full set is 4 pieces so you can use only bonuses from 3 pieces, as when you have 4 game reads set as a full - Same it was with Trang, you couldn't get +meteo but it was still there.
I moved LL on full set bonus, Natalya's bonuses also are added to items partial - for example +25% fire is now on boots when having 3 pieces - If you come with better idea pls suggest before too late.
