I could use help testing out crafting to make sure there aren't typos in my formulas (there likely will be a few as I have already caught a couple of them). Folks can also double check gems & runes to make sure I have those correct although I think they are good to go.
To help test things here is a zip file that contains:
- modified gems.txt
- modified cubemain.txt with new crafting formulas
- modified misc.txt that allows Akara to sell all gems/runes/jewels for 1g and charsi to sell hammers for 1g (handy to get crafting supplies)
- modified monstats.txt that changes treasure class of blood moor monsters - that should allow you to get plenty of elite/exceptional items for crafting

2. download the zip
3. extract the txt files to your Diablo II\Data\Global\Excel folder
4. run the game in single player (edits won't work on realm)
Let me know what you find. Don't forget that crafts also get rare mods, so you may see some variety. For example, when you craft an elemental sword it may get say 208-420 cold dmg rather than the listed 200-400 cold dmg. This is just because the item spawned with +8-20 cold dmg and not because of a txt error. However if you find that error comes up repeatedly, then it is a txt error (or really wonky statistical chances!)
