Hey there. Here is the issue i'm facing : When i go to the character stats screen ('c' key), everything gets laggy. When i close the window, the lag disapears, but everything goes speedy for a second. I'm using a nond2se install with highresfull. Changing any d2 video option doesn't change anything. Any idea ? Thx in advance =] |

Alright, i decided to dig by myself to get rid of that (annoying) fps drop. First, it only occurs in fullscreen mode. Secondly, it seems the problem is related to d3d cause everything works well with ddraw or glide. I've sticked to glide but a mystery remains : why is only the char stat screen affected by this bug ? |

it could be because the character screen displays much more information than normal d2 ever did, and for some odd unknown reason it makes it lag....can't really think of anything else. |

Yeah, something like that. In the meantime, i did a fresh install on a totally different machine and guess what... same fps drop under direct 3d mode. |
