Hello, So I'm trying to run this game on my Windows 8 machine. My windows 7 computer worked brilliantly, but that's dead now. So, I'm stuck with this. My problem with the installation seems to mainly come from the "NewLoader" not working correctly. Namely, it's not being downloaded at all. Rather, it's getting downloaded, and promptly removed. I thought it was my antivirus being overzealous, but the more things I shut off on it and even emailing their technical support, and the result stays the same; the NewLoader gets downloaded/unzipped for about 1 second, then disappears. Does anyone know if this is a Windows 8 problem, if it's actually my antivirus software, or if there's any way to run this otherwise? Thanks. |

Until yesterday, I had this running on Win8, but I did not use loader. You may try extracting to a different folder and then copy and pasting, also possibly extract things as an admin. Sorry not much help. |

Sorry not much help. How do you run the game without the loader? Just use the disc? I thought that didn't work, but if it does, I can see what I can do. |

Problem is probably coming from antivirus since Newloader isn't recognized as a safe file. I don't if you have download a new antivirus or kept the one coming with windows 8 or maybe both. But you got to find a way to add NewLoader to safe files. |

Run the game via d2se. Run multiple version via sandboxie. |

yeah, D2SE isn't working, either. Followed your instructions to the letter; something isn't booting up correctly somewhere. It runs the vanilla just fine, but for some reason HU won't boot. |
