Hello. Ok I just installed the multiplayer version of the game. I have a C:\ window open and it is saying repeatedly "Error connecting to server!" "searching for hacks." when i click on the gateway arimyth network button nothing happens. any advice? |

Well, the "Searching for hacks" line is new to me, but I guess it doesn't matter since the HUGuard server is down. The "Error connecting to server" line is because the server isn't online, so that's fine too. You can just close that window if it bugs you. If the server is ever turned on, then you'll need the window open, and it will just say something like "Connected". If the gateway button you're pressing is the one on the D2 title screen, then it sounds like it is operating correctly by allowing you to select the Arimyth Gateway. Once the gateway is selected you just press the Battle.Net button, and it will connect to our Gateway, rather than US West, US East, or some other Blizzard controlled Gateway. |
