When I try to connect to battle.net with everything for hellfire installed and put into the diablo 2 folder it keeps giving me the error message of "Battle.net is unable to properly identify your application version." My friend also just downloaded everything recently and we both did the same steps but his is working fine. Is there anything i might have done wrong or anything that could easily fix it? Thanks in advance! |

Also i would like to add that when i try single player it works perfectly with no problems. |

I have reinstalled it and done everything exactly how i am instructed a few times and it still didn't fix the problem. Any other ideas? I'm all out. |

Same problem here. Vista. Cant change the realm to any other custom one cause it isnt there... Hmm.. |

sounds like a b.net gateway editor issue. I am hoping that someone with some tech savvy with chime in and outline how to get the arimyth gateway showing up in your dropdown menu. |

I heard someone else mention it. That it may be detected as a virus? I checked the zip and it isn't even in there... |

I was able to track it down from an older version of this game: http://blue.arimyth.com/BNetGatewayEditor.exe run it. click add. server name: arimyth network ip address: 209.172.49.105 timezone: whatever, mines set to -2 |

some AV programs will say its a virus or something similar. I use the same one myself. Norton and Avast seem to have the most problems with the program. I can vouch for its legitimacy though as I use it all the time and have had no problems. |
