Hello!
First I want to say it's a great pleasure to play this D2 MOD and thanks a lot to Soulmancer for it. Also it's great you people run it online, really nice.
But I have really disturbing problem.
Here is my story:
Currently I am playing HU 1.21z, it's very enjoyable and everything was perfectly fine until a pop-up told me I was running on low disk space. Then I checked the volume and surprised I found my D2 folder was larger than 6 GB (I have an old computer and I don't have much free disk space). I entered in the folder and saw 7 or 8 text files (.txt) with names D2120823 and similar and size - well the biggest one was ~820 MB , the others were smaller 600, 500. 820 MB for a text file is quite big. So I deleted them all, D2 folder was back to ~2 GB, I started D2 , I refreshed the folder and it was created again! It was small but with the passing time it's growing up. Just staying in game for 5 minutes and creating a new game this D2120823 grew around 120 KB. File with a huge amount of errors which I don't understand.
And my question is : How to stop the creating of this file? I am pretty sure I don't need it and I don't want it. I don't want to know what is D2120823. I just need to know how to disable it if it is possible.
I apologize for my bad English , I hope I described properly my problem and thanks in advance for your response.

Best wishes to You!

Those are debug files, chances are theres an animation with the wrong number of frames or directions set in missiles.txt or a bad monster anim.
An errorline will be written to the debug file 25 times a sec while the bad animation is playing. Over a few days those linesstac up and create massive text files.

Extract the .bat file attatched to your mod folder and create a shortcut to desktop and run it every now and then to clear them up (or have it run on each startup).
Ps. can you link to one of those files? (zip it and upload somewhare) I'll check it and get a note to whoever is working on updates atm with the missiles/anims causing the prob.

@Dew/anyone with HU files to hand. Ctrl+f in missiles.txt for "null" and check the number of frames/directions that are set for each instance of it. The number of frames should be 1 (check the null cellfile to be sure, it may be 2) and directions should be 1 too.

The majority of 'AnimLen' fields associated with 'null' cel file are set to 2. A handful are set to 1.

Thanks!
But I have a better idea what to do - reinstall everything, starting with the Windows. I believe these errors are only in my computer.
Best regards, Dobromir

Dunno about that. I end up with bloated log files as well. I just clear them out from time to time. Kinda nice to know why it happens. Thanks Rage.
