okay got it launching now it keeps freezing whenever starting the single player |

Well you gotta provide us more information, then just freezing. Have you installed 1.3c? Are you lauching D2 with -direct -txt? On the menu do you see d2mod system v1.03? |

what happens is i see that it says the mod when i start single player i pick my character and when i press start game the screen turns black |

That seem d2modsetup haven't run correctly. Maybe try to re-run it... Make sure your d2 folder is outside the program files path. (Ex : C:\Diablo II) |

It is outside the program folder I noticed when I control alt delete an assertion failure pops up diablo2common\DATATBLS\datatbls.cpp,line#2190\ expresion pbdata |

got it to work just got to figure out how to do full screen instead of windowed |
