| Post subject: | Slightly frustrating error |
First of all, greetings to everyone and cheers for making such a well-designed and entertaining mod. I have been playing the solo version for about 2 weeks now, and everything has been great until I got to the second act. Last night I went to play it again but I keep getting the following: "Error: Byte 81 wanted but 01 found to change memory at 02949295" Some google search pointed to this being a PlugY error and said about reinstalling D2, and I did. I tried HU again, and everything was fine until I realized I forgot to add Wn Xp SP2 compatibility in the shortcut...so I saved and quit, did that and went back to it to the same error. Not sure if this makes any difference but when I installed the mod on top of the new installation I used the same character I was playing in my previous run. Any ideas? |
