Post subject:  couple of problems
cant equip mercs with items, and when I run the d2modsetup it will not let me join games online, it gives me the generic

UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: ACCESS_VIOLATION(c0000005)

so anyway to fix this? because I really like my mercs :)

Did you install the core download and run D2modsetup? without that the merc plug in won't work.

im having same trouble but when i use mods setup to uninstal i can jion games but stash and every thing is wrong size and i cannot access most of my gear im wearing because its of screen . then tried to use in game option to correct that prob and seems to work except when i go to open char or inventory game crashes. with a cel error any help on this would be much appriecated

If you downloaded a high res mpq you must use the d2modsetup to install the mod or else it WILL be unstable. Also while it might give a generic error at the same time it generates a debug log. Look for D2****** files(where *'s being the date numbers). If your not sure which of those D2****** files to submit then delete them all and try running d2 again to get the generic error. This will create a fresh error log with the name D2******. Submit that D2****** file to here so that people can look at the error log and figure out what the actual error is.

thanks i found my problem it was in the cracked files k4im put up for the loader been corrected and all is working atm
