Post subject:  Using Mousewheel to change skills on Vista
Ok after semi fixing the mousewheel to change skills (could only change between 2 skills) i just realised how to actualy fix it.

click the link below and download "install autohotkey"
http://www.autohotkey.com/download/

once installed open notepad and put in the following lines

;#ifWinActive, d2loader (may not be d2loader, just what d2 is called on your task bar)
wheelup::send {f9}
wheeldown::send {f10}

save this to your desktop as : skillchange.ahk (or something like that, as long as it ends in .ahk)

whenever you run the game run this script too.

1 : once in game press esc and go to the options menu.
2 : go to configure controlls
3 : scroll down to select previous skill (put f9 here)
4 : go to select next skill (put f10 here)
6 : click accept

now whenever you run the script in game your mouse wheel will scroll through the skills you have on hotkeys (just dont put a skill on f9 or f10)

Edit: you dont have to use f9 and f10, you can use any key as long as the keys in the script corespond to the keys in your config controls under select next skill/select previous skill

Uhhhh Problem... it worked... now i can mouse scroll in game... but now mouse wheel wont work on internet or anywhere else.... -.- how do i turn it off?

You dont, its bugged to your mouse, and youll have to get a new mouse, computer, and maybe even a life for it to work again.

Na j/m, id assume delete the notepad, and the settings would be kinda voided

there will be an icon in your tray with a capital H. right click it and go to exit. you only run it when your playing the game

yeah i found the file but its only giving me run and compile... no exit... :(

in your tray on the right, next to the time there is a big H icon. you need to right click it and exit is the very bottom option. I just ran mine and closed it that way to make sure.

lol, when I was customizing this computer XP SP2 was a $139 option because it normally came with Vista.. I said f**k it and go with Vista.

btw, I don't have any problems here, I hardly use the up/down mousewheel.
My skill scroll keys are A/Z (next/previous). Just HOW am I comfortable with this, don't ask me, but that was when I was using a 2-button trackball back then before I got the cordless mouse.
