keeps saying its in use when its not, i tried procexp.exe to explore all running programs and no diabloII.exe is running when i try to delete it. i also cant cut paste it to a new location or re name it to something else asits "in use" i am trying to get loader to work and to do that i need to get rid of this old diabloii.exe that got messed up somehow using vista laptop- currently i just use d2se to run HU and only way i can get it to work. if this is a repost sorry i cant find my old one |

Try fileAssassin or other program that force unlocks/deletes/kills the file and process. Another way is to start your windows in safe mode and delete the file there. Try googling those for more specific results! |

idont use hacks and ive shut down restarted multiple times |

tried to uninstall the game? it might be your only option...unless someone got any other ideas... |

uninstall would also require the file to not be in use |

safe mode is an easy fix if all you're doing is deleting. |
