Just confirming - even though Soulmancer set the absorbs on the boss charms to operate beyond 40% that extra value is just ignored and the values are really set at 40%

Baal for example has 55% fire absorb, however as the max absorb is 40%, he really only has 40% absorb. 55% absorb is clearly not true as that would make him impossible to dmg.

This is the assumption I am working off of, so if someone can demonstrate it is incorrect that would be appreciated.

Abs cap is 40% atm so you're right. During some psn abs and stuff tests I set abs cap to 100 for mag damage and each bone spear was healing a boss. Now it's 40%, period.
