ctrl+alt+delete and bring up task manager, then find your diablo2.exe and right click, set priority.

Don't use it if you don't know how. :). Realtime on process that already eats 50%cpu must be win!
Diablo is an old game, if you have a modern CPU try setting it to low priority. So it won't kill your graphic/sound drivers.
