| Post subject: | will not run in windowed mode cannot join games |
i downloaded and installed hell unleashed, made an acct on the server and a character. i get to the create/join screen then whenever i try to join or create a game it freezes and i get this error "cannot load d2client.dll: error182. also i need to get it to run in windowed mode bc my laptop is wide screen and it screws it up. i tried making a shortcut and adding -w to the target but it still runs in full screen. |

make sure you installed it correctly and have 1.10 of LOD installed as this mod is based off that. Check list: -Have diablo 2 expanson at 1.10 -replaced all files from 1.13a HU -ran d2modsetup until it says to install as for running in window mode, you need to make the shortcut have -w outside of the quotations. ex: ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II HU\HU - Diablo II.exe" -w) minus the parenthesis and regarding your post in the introduction, it has been what? 3 hrs at most?(edit: oops read am as pm lol) not everyone lives in the same time zone or like to post on the forums to answer questions that can be found with a little searching. |

what OS are you using? are you running from a clean install of d2 1.10f? d2Client.dll is one of the unedited filesIIRC so I assume you have reverted from 1.12 or higher. There are a number of stickys on in this section on reverting propperly. |
