Hi guys, I just registrated for this forum to get some help, how that is what I will get :)

Here is the thing, When i click to run the d2modsetup it runs and says it runeed succesfull. when I try to run hellunleashed.exe it says it cant find the file "Anti-hack.exe" .. what's the problem and how do I solve it? Please, explain as detailed as possible since I'm not good at this things :P This is like the second time i try something like this (download content and installing it)

and btw, I copied my diablo II map from the program, and named one to "Diablo II X". that's where I'm trying to install unleashed.

Download loader from here, extract to your HU folder and create a shortcut to it.

Rightclick the shurtcut and on the Target Line add -direct -txt
Thats a "space"-direct -txt. Make sure you add this outside of the " marks

dunno about problem (yet) but tell what version of mod you use. anti-hack.exe was renamed to huguard.exe long time ago so i bet you have something wrong with your files, probably found on outdated page.

thanks for the answears, but I don't got any file called "HUGuard.exe" either :/

downloaded the loader though, and i think I added the text as it should be... (in the very end of the existing text?) but what am I supposed to do now? it still asks for the "Anti-hack.exe" ....

Make sure you are getting the mod from the correct location, there are a few links to the old version still kicking around on the internet that people find every now and then.

Here is the most updated version: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=596

well, i dowloaded it from here

http://www.freewebs.com/critterkiller/

and btw, im not after the multiplayer version, not yet at least, just want to check out the singleplayer version first :)

but cant get it to work... hellunleashed.exe says "Cant find the anti-hack.exe" and the d2modsetup just "flashopen-and-close" in the blink of an eye, OR says it can't find the module.

ya, that isn't the most up to date version. Actually - I can do something about that link. I am going to be doing some work on that page shortly and will fix that link to send it to the right place.

Redownload it from the link I gave you and you should be better off.

so, I redownloaded it, but now when i try to run the setup, it starts to say. either that it can't find the module, or, cannot find required ddl. If diablo is running, you cannot setup this mod. quit diablo and try again.

my diablo II folder is empty, any advises?

You will need to have the normal diablo II installed first before you can run the mod. It goes like this:

1. Install Diablo II & Diablo II expansion pack
2. upgrade to ver. 1.10
3. Install Hell Unleashed from the link I gave you

1. revert from 1.13 to 1.10
2. install the mod from the link I sent

To be honest, I am not sure what you need to do to revert from 1.13 to 1.10. The way I would do it is to start from scratch and only upgrade to 1.10, but maybe someone else can chime in with a way to revert to 1.10

I used "LodRepair" programm (it revert your d2 to v.1.0.7). Then I dload official 1.10 version and put it into d2folder.

Reinstall your game and use 1.10 patch.
One(2) question, did you make a copy of diablo2 and you're trying to run hell unleashed from that copy?
