no error message or anything, but whenever i approach certain 'level down' spots, like the stairs down from stoney in a1, my game will just close. i join back in, try to get to the stairs, and it closes as soon as they are in sight. it's not that 'level down' spot in particular however. i made a different game and i was able to get down, but then the dungeon was all strangely generated (no stairs up, monsters behind walls, warped me around) also, when the hu batch runs 'huguard.exe,' it says 'socket opened' but then keeps repeating 'error connecting to server.' any connection? different issue entirely? any insight greatly appreciated! |

some areas are known for this...one area being stairs inside cave to izzy. Another thing to check is to make sure you have the "z" patch installed. This may solve some issues. I've heard someone mention to have the on screen map off when you enter...not sure how true that is. any of this help? |
