Hi everybody, I got some problems connecting to the server, everytime i try to connect, it says "try connect to the fastest server" and after a while an error appears "Unable to Connect to B.net". I'm using D2SE with "HighRes NewMusic Multi"-Version and yes, the Gateway is "Arimyth Network". Thanks for any help

It's pretty hard to determine what might be going wrong since it sounds like you've probably installed things correctly. You're able to make single player characters right? If not, then it's worth exploring installation issues. There's a registry file, "hu.reg" (should contain Arimyth Gateway's information), in the HUv1.7 folder that normally isn't needed, but you could try adding its information to your registry. I suppose it's possible for this to be related to firewalls (maybe an ultra-strict firewall that forbids some out-going information?), although that normally only applies to folks connecting to you rather than you connecting to them. There's also the file "BnetLog.txt" in the HUv1.7 folder that should contain error information. If that file just contains 20-30 lines of text (mine has 7 lines just saying everything worked), then copy-paste it in your next post and we'll see if it helps. |

Hi, yes, I already began to play SP. I've already ran hu.reg, no problems and changed nothing :/ For one try I shut off the firewall from my antivir. And here is the BnetLog.txt File: 3/15 18:00:34.489 Connecting to Battle.net... 3/15 18:00:34.499 querying gateway 37.221.195.51 3/15 18:00:34.530 searching for the fastest server 3/15 18:00:50.532 no servers found Any other ideas? :/ Thx for help anyways. |

Here's my BNetLog. It looks like the gateway IP might be wrong (but might also just be address-resolved). Code: 3/15 10:29:37.103 Connecting to Battle.net... 3/15 10:29:37.118 querying gateway bnetd.arimyth.com 3/15 10:29:37.337 searching for the fastest server 3/15 10:29:37.415 Connected to server 192.99.6.143 3/15 10:29:37.431 accessing accounts 3/15 10:29:37.603 Checking for the latest version 3/15 10:29:37.790 Connected to Battle.net D2SE_setup.ini should be configured to point you towards bnetd.arimyth.com, so it's hard to tell what's happened. Consider replacing your High-Res setup file with this one, but if it seems like other things are behaving oddly, then consider downloading the core files and main package again. |
