everytime i try to run D2ModSetup.bat i get "Error Loading .\d2mod.dll The specified Module can not be found" yes i did look for d2mod.dll, its in the folder. also im using Vista if that means anything. |

Open the d2mod.ini under ' [D2mod] you need to change all those files to not be relative paths. so instead of d2mod=d2mod.dll change it to d2mod=c:\programfiles\diabloII (assuming that's your directory) once again, you need to change each of those to the exact directory. If that doesn't work let me know. |

does the error message change? Also right click on d2modsetup.bat, go to edit, and then change rundll32 .\d2mod.dll,D2ModSetup to c:\programfiles\diabloII\d2mod.dll,D2ModSetup |

doest change. but now i did that and the command thing opens but then closes instantly. |

so it asks if you want to install, then opens a prompt and closes? that sounds like it worked. when you try to open the file again does it ask you if you want to uninstall ? |

it doesnt ask anything. the prompt opens then just closes instantly. |

If those things didn't work then I am out of ideas, we had the same problem recently and those things fixed it. The only difference is that the person had it installed to c:\diabloII instead of in program files, this might make a difference in vista, try to reinstall then do the things I mentioned above. If this does not work then good luck, we tried searching for a solution for days before figuring that one out. |

ok i got it to install. now i dont know how to get onto hell unleased. |
