Post subject:	Diablo Wont Open.
Hello there. I was running HU without a problem until i had to restart the computer. After that, the game wouldnt launch for some reason. I reinstalled the game and solved the problem, but again, after restarting the computer, Diablo refuses to launch. Any ideas on how to solve this? I'm just hope i dont have to reinstall everytime i turn the computer off. I'm running Windows XP and neither the HU .bat nor the loader work.

Perhaps your antivirus (or some similar program) is stripping a file out of your D2 directory that is required for it to run. Check the quarantine folders and see if there is anything there or check the notifications to see if one of these programs is disabling something D2 related.

Not at all. Checked quarantine and the results of last verification. AVG didnt got anything . So... Will i have to reinstall everytime i turn on the PC? And thanks for the fast reply, blue.

I reinstalled and everything was alright again. I just turned PC on and once again, the game wont open. Anyone has an idea on what's happening?

Does game.exe appear in taskmanager? Any log files in your d2 dir from the last attempt to start up?
