ok an idea of a psn rw for melee weapons came to mind, so like usually i made it on sp, just added the attributes to a white wep to start messing around with it and have a good time... but rabies never worked... not on hit and not on attack... just doesnt work.

this is the wep:
indestructible
100% ctc lvl50 rabies on attack/striking
10% ctc lvl50 psn explosion when u kill an enemy
lvl6 cleansing aura when equipped
+3 to all skills
80% increased attack speed
+450% enhanced dmg
2042 psn dmg over 20 seconds
-35% enemy psn res
+35% psn skills
+15 venom OSkill

everything works well... except the rabies.

any idea why is this???

rabies can't be used in that way - never works on attack/striking.

Not positive on this but I think its due to the skill requiring the person to be in wolf form. perhaps try it with a beast weapon on.

just tested to verify. i have 30% ctc rabies on attack from the facets in my armor and it didn't show up a single time when I ran through Upper Kurast and beat up the General in Hell using just fury and a Tomb Reaver to ensure lots and lots of hits.

basically, it just can't be proc'd on attack. Which is fine really. It would annoy the hell out of you if it did since once something is infected with rabies you can't reinfect it.
