Broken or some shit. Rolled one on my character can't mouse over it at all just crashes me, even did fresh install of everything. None of the other new items give me this problem.

Is it a runeword or unique?
If runeword, the string for the name is likely missing
If set/unique it might have too many stats.

Rip. I believe the string may have been incorrect in 1.6b. They are all fixed and double checked in 1.6c but I don't think Duff is ever going to come back.

Fix it clientside, just add a string to the .tbl files for the rw and provide a data folder or if you already have it done for 1.6c create a blank data folder and copy the lng folder into it and provide a link

Do they just copy that into their mod folder with a 'data' that has nothing but the LNG in it? Will it pull from that without changing the data in the mpq, if they don't change modable=1 settings and shit?

Probably all of the new runewords. Had to get it out of my inventory with another item clicking it.

The game reads from data folder > patch_d2 so anything in data will override what is in patch.mpq. Anything not in the data folder will be read from patch_d2.mpq

I thought it only reads from data if you set modable=1 and check the box to pull from data first, then mpq. But if you say so ^^
