I lvl of charms in normal cow level?

Post subject:  I lvl of charms in normal cow level?
Anyone know? I'm just wondering if I can roll skillers on the charms I can find in normal cows since I'm not sure of the monster level on them. I know they won't have the best mods, but at least it's a start.

I'd also like to know if anyone knows the lowest area I could find grand charms to roll into skillers, or the lowest area where it's possible for skillers to drop. I was thinking flayer jungle but I'm not positive.

I believe you need the charms to be lvl80 or higher. That means just about anywhere in Hell has the possibility of dropping a skill charm, but essentially nowhere in NM should be able to drop skillers.

i think charms in normal cows can go up to level 40 or 50, not sure 100%. Ive seen some lvl 40/41 charms come from normal cows, nothing higher though so i cant really say.

skillers are a hell-only thing

Good to know. I guess the ilvl of skillers was changed in HU?

Ya - skillers can make massive shifts in dmg and that is terribly hard to balance around. With them being higher level now, it keeps things a little easier to balance in Norm/NM

55/76/96 norm/nm/hell Monsters lvl from txt files. Tundra is 55/75/95

And you can get charms to roll into skillers around half a2 (maggots etc) but only from champs/bosses (they add +2/+3 to ilvl, so if maggots is 79lvl, champs' drop are 81 ilvl) A3 is the place for plain gcs - flayer and flayer dungeon.

So I shouldn't reroll any charms before act3 hell basically.
