I have just downloaded this mod and im in act 2 normal. I have both the staff and ammy for the quest but yet it will not let me cube it... I have ran the d2modsetup. Also when I start the game it runs in DOS mode and sayd cannot find 'anti-hack.dll' but it still lets me play the game... Any help would be grat thanks! |

You need the Horardric Bubblegum. The Viper amulet won't stick to the staff without a little bubblegum to hold it in place. Blizzard forgot this minor detail, so we added it in this game. You can find the Bubblegum down in the Halls of the Dead. Go down to lvl2 of the Halls and you will find a doorway to the Juggernaut. He's an ill-tempered fellow who runs fast, hits hard and likes to play with fire. Some damage reduction and plenty of fire resists are well advised to get equipped before visiting him. Once you kill him, a portal will open up. I won't ruin the surprise, but just be prepared when you do enter that portal. Once you get the bubblegum, stick it with the staff and amulet and you will have a full staff. |

Thanks for the info, I was just looking in the cube recipes and it just said to use the staff and the ammy so i was running through it quickly and didnt even expect that there would be anything in the halls. Also, now that I have went ahead and got the staff and ammy the quest reads: "Use teh horordic cube to restore the staff" |

That's a little unfortunate bug that occurs only when you have the staff and amulet, not those + the Ore. Trust me, I did the same thing early in playing the game and I was like, "WTF?!" ....I had to go get the Ore to fuse the staff. |
