| Post subject: | Hamachi and massive lag? |
I know the game is based on everything happening in 25 fps, but if my fps is floating around 25, it seems really laggy. This happens whenever my friend and I use Hamachi. After about an hour of play, we start to get massive frame drop from 60 to 25-30 and even though it says 0 skip, it becomes annoying, and eventually it starts to drop to 10 fps with 10-15 skip and then you literally can't play. We've tried using the clear cache on Hamachi every 5 minutes or so, tried windowed/not windowed, no firewall or antivirus on, I have his IP entered as allowed (he could literally destroy my computer but he is my friend and I trust him) and other things, but it seems like Hamachi has this lag buildup that cannot be avoided. If we leave the game and make a new one, it seems to reset this lag timer. Any ideas on why this happens and how to fix it? |
