| Post subject: | game randomly minimizes |
The game keeps randomly minimizing on me while I am playing for seemingly no reason. Sometimes its because of popups of programs I have installed but usually its just for no reason. I don't know if its because Im holding certain key combinations for too long or pressing certain keys that I shouldn't be. I don't know if its because of keyboard settings or desktop or toolbar settings that I don't know about. I changed the highlight items on ground button to F12 from left Alt, thinking this might have been the problem, but it doesn't help. I have Windows 7, and I have Avast antivirus installed. My laptop sometimes heats up to 70 C I don't know if the game is trying to auto minimize itself because of the workload from the heat. I heard someone say all i have to do is run the game in a window, but I couldn't figure how to do that, (I know it sounds noob lol). |

I've the same issue, but I just play with it. If you want to run it as a window, in D2SE there is an option -w that lets you run it as a window. If you are not using d2se, right click on your short-cut to launch diablo 2, click properties, and add -w to the end of target line and it will open as a window. |
