I just did baal and noticed that his "salv" aura was back. The rotating immunities thing that Dew implemented a couple patches ago. Was this intentional? What does this mean about the other changes that Dew had put in place? There were a couple problematic bugs with that patch, such as Andarial taking zero damage in normal from physical damage, etc.

nm baal is actually immune to everything all the time (except magic)
it requires conviction or LR to break

EDIT: not immune to phys in NM

Yeah it certainly makes him harder than his minions now, but the way it does it is kinda lame. I don't like being forced into having a necro or pally in my party if I want to kill a boss.

You've probably seen my fix for this next patch though. I'm keeping the aura, just reducing the numbers so the immunities actually drop from time to time.

yea I agree. It was meant to rotate the immunities when dew implemented it, but apparently got screwed up somewhere along the way. If I remember correctly, this meant that Hell baal could potentially be triple immune, but not ever immune to all. In NM he was just immune to one thing at a time.

Since when did Baal start casting blizzard non stop. Blizz takes my sorc from 5k to nearly zero.
