I've been trying for days... I'm about to rip my hair out. I've followed every single guide there is on the sites and these forums, but no luck anywhere... I've tried nearly everything there is to try, every combination of download+install and extracted everything into the right places... Installing d2 on the desktop instead of programfiles (x86).. I've tried EVERYTHING and I can't get it to work!!! I do not have the disks, I have the downloadable version from battle.net, by default, they come with version 1.12, and I am not able to downgrade to 1.10, it won't let me. Please help... If anyone has teamviewer and can help me out, pm me or add me on skype @ shawngoesroar Oh and my necro is still stuck in a game from like a month ago, I'd like it if I could get some help with that too. may try this. have not used it but it looks like what you want. http://chaosmarc.bplaced.net/index.php?lang=en your nec is not stuck as far as i can see in the realm status. you rnec is likely trying to access a server that is down. try a couple of times in a row. |

Great! That's actually the program that I got it to work with, thanks though. As for my nec, he doesn't seem to be stuck anymore, but now I have the problem of not being able to create games with any of my characters, I can only join games. |

if you dont have a disc dont ever downgrade. just use D2SE. easier to install . |

i dont understand what D2SE is and how to use it but id like to. can someone please explain it with as much detail as possible/ i wanna install the game on this computer and cant seem to get it to work so far. |

it's a mod controller, allowing ease of access to them all. other than that, google is your friend. |
