The server will be down about 18:30 EST for quick maintence and fix...

This fix will address the crashing shadow master/warrior combo bug, fixes the reported runewords and also decreases the HP of the elite monsters "Berserkers, Wyrms, Seraphim, Marilith, Worldstone Golem" also DPS from wyrms in normal difficulty is reduced...

The full and lite files will be updated with the fix and a stand alone quick update patch 1.21y will also be released to update your client without downloading the whole mod again... I am not sure if you need to download it or not as the Shadow Master/Warrior fix may require a client side update along with the server side update to prevent you from crashing, not 100% sure on that.

Nm, the staves are still fuckin broken... I donnot what to tell you. I made the changes but apparently they didn't save... These staves are cursed!!!

.... are you serious? IIRC to fix the whole backwards modifiers on the staves is just a simple number change in the columns where they are at(the skill tab mods that is) are you sure( if you are using d2excel) you're saving the txt files when you do these changes?

edit :went through the txts myself: stillwaters tab is still 4(lightning) and starlight is 5(cold), make sure you save the changes when you do it again

Edit 2: Runes.txt

see if this works, i attempted to fix stillwater/starlight check for me, insert runes txt. into the excel folder

He said he didn't save that part before uploading. He knows how to fix it he's just embarrassed he didn't double check before release.

Two choice ...

3rd client/server update or wait until a brand new one.

I think everyone can live with it as it is right now so simply wait until a new update comes out.

Sucks about the runes. Assassin seems to work now though :) I helped out on nm anicents, getting WPs, and white dragon in nm and the game stayed up the entire time. Thanks for patch. I'm at a high level to where I just want to mess around and help people get to hell now and I didn't want to join anyone's game before and screw up their progress.
