Eric uninstalled d2.. so I gave him my battle.net account to reinstall since some of the isos out there are broken..... and he'll need a way to revert from the newest bnet patch to 1.10

Should be a file in diablo folder called Diablo II LoD 1.10.rar

I don't think 1.10 patch rar's can revert from 1.12 ...

can you go backwards? I thought you had to just reinstall- that's what I always do.

You can revert from 1.11. That is what the 1.10 patch is for. I don't think it works for anything past 1.11. I would just find the CDs or download the iso's and reinstall if you can't get an older version from blizzard.

its okay I actually figured it out..... I can post it how if anyone wants to add the instructions to the main page.... and yes its possible :)

it involves taking the game.exe from an older version replacing ur newer patch... then running the 1.10 patch and it'll goto 1.10 quite simple actually...

I had lorek call me but we got it working.... he downloaded the game through battle.net using my account... then I had him revert to 1.09d patch using the game.exe for it.. then update to 1.10 then install HU .. took forever because he has the most unorganized computer ever but meh :)

also can get from newd2event.net to revert to 1.10 had to do it for mine
