actually I got discouraged from the whole "melees require buffing but no one can seem to agree on how they actually needed buffed thing"... As for the spring break thing was someone else's mention (I read the post but forgot who it was). I was actually somewhat actively avoiding the forum, but then this morning sheer strength of habit had me absent mindlessly clicked the forum's button on my webpage shortcut toolbar. Of course I noticed the bots festering and already nuked dozens of bot posts already in the hour or so I've been looking through the forum. Of course during the absence I was spending my spare time enjoying other things. While I won't mind making a mod for the community, however, I'm not going to make a bunch of random changes for the hell of it. I have no mod vision as it so I don't really have my own idea for what direction HU should be taken in the first place. I'm not about to pack a bunch of unagreed upon ideas into a patch and then get yelled at for even though it was mostly other people's notions. At a glance though it seems Dew has taken up the cup for modding. If Dew need tips on how to go about soft coding something though I'd willingly give them. |
