crashed me in game upon andy death, I got an error with something about items.txt
I was playing two chars at once, and only the one near andy got crashed.

The guy who has it is getting crashed all the time.

Dont have any info on it yet though other than this.

Start by giving info on how you installed. There's a number of people who have already farmed andy's soulshard with no problems. The only possibility it could be is something is wrong with how your mod is installed (or that you are using unusual files).

Not a soulshard. A unique grand charm with no visible name. Has no image, and causing everyone that comes in contact to crash

aziz-qc-3 had it and just sold it to a vendor to prevent crashes.

I asked for that install information for good reason. Don't evade the question and answer it. Actually it is a soul shard. The reason it displays as a grand charm is because your install is out of date probably.

We'll if its any recollection, I've farmed all of the soul shards before and never seen this happen. I don't know what else to say other than, I installed like how the guide told me to. Aziz has also reinstalled to try to solve the problem and it didn't. And, 4 people counted it as a unique grand charm that dropped.

Have you actually farmed any soul shards this patch? There's only two bosses that actually drop unique grand charms. Cow King and the Soulmancer boss. These unique grand charms are otherwise impossible to drop. I suspect the likely scenario is those 4 other guys happen to have the beta version of 1.3b active (which is outdated and needs updated) and it's causing the soul shards to display as unique grand charms.

Even with a fresh install they appear as grand charms on drop graphic wise (still right name) id'ing them takes em down to two spots though.

Why were unique charms itemtypes changed anyway? All that needed done was to change the size from 1*1 to 1*2, its a single column. Just needed to be applied right after the final realm test run.

If it's not broke, don't fix it.

Basically there were no 1x2 unique charms in the first place. When Purerage made soulmancer charm he added an extra unique grand charm base item. So I simply edited the redundant unique grand charm base item to be 1x2 (as well as appropriately swapped what uniques charms spawned on what), but apparently I missed a couple values.

Main reason I didn't make the 1x1 to 1x2 was because the soul shards were originally sharing a base item with the lower samhain charms and there was no reason to increase their space as well (which would of surely bugged their graphics since they were 1 space graphics).

Best to just create a new misc item if they used the same base as sammy charms. Thats why I added a new charm type for the hero's reward. No chance of mix ups if you add the item yourself rather than adjusting/rearanging other already working ones. It's pretty important, especially when working with someone elses files. For the sake of 1 extra line in misc.txt, it's worth it to be sure of no unintended side effects.

The "type" column in misc.txt for the hero's reward is now using grandcharms base itemtype ("lcha" instead of "mcha") showing the grandcharms inv graphic when unid'd as a result (possibly other minor problems too). Adjusting itemtypes at this point will result in corrupt characters though it'll hopefully not be too much of a problem.
