 Post subject: Amp plus shamans curse

Found this a bit interesting while running Bishibosh a bit ago. Seems the shamans curse and amp stack with nasty results. Their curse is not cured by anything except time either.

It's a side effect of making mondecrep stackable with other curses so it wouldn't be overriden or override other curses. Purerage pointed it out earlier actually when he finally realized the implications of that change of his that he put out into the initial 1.3b I worked on to make into this patch.

i personally like it. It makes up for the nerf to monster amp and keeps you on your toes.

yuuup, scary

EDIT: especially with the frogs slow missiles, and the slow from the curse, and the slow from the bugs, and if the bugs drain all your stamina and you have to walk.. pretty much can't move with 100+ amp ><

necro also can use confuse +other curse at the same time.

I'm assuming curse immunity and curse reduction has no effect on MonDecrep?
Can anyone clarify this for certain?

Also, I personally like the change. Make shit more dangerous, having -100 physical resistance will make anything hurt a lil'.

Yup agree with Zac on this one.. think I posted somewhere else too. It was a good change IMO.. the real question is.. has anyone even died from it yet?! I don't even think it turned out as bad as it sounds.

curse resistance/reduction has no effect on it.
Old "Cursed" enemys reduced your phys res by -100% before this patch. It was dropped to 50% though so I'd say this makes up for it nicely.

dont mean to break away from the discussion but was just wondering if anyone can provide some info about why my character screen doesnt display the names for fire res, cold res, etc

A question better suited for the bugs thread. Try putting it up there with more details such as which mpq you used (also a screenshot would be of great help if you have troubles describing the problem).
