You would have to swap mpqs and d2mod.ini files of the mpq different downloads in order to switch modes. A cut and paste operation is usually fastest for moving a file from one location to an other under a windows OS atleast. The mpq and d2mod.ini file MUST be switched together. Switching one or the other will at best cause graphical bugs all over, and the more likely worst case scenario is that your d2 will be plagued with crashes.

Those are data folder downloads... I just made them breifly available to quickly fix the crash problems with the mpqs that were out before the r2 version mpqs became available. They are no longer needed actually.
