Which type of packaging should be used for HU 1.3b ?

Baerk used self-extract packaging but some users don't seem to like it so I thought I should ask the community.

my suggestion:

.exe for D2SE installation

.rar for normal installation

i have no problem with either, but since .rar and .zip have been the format for patches i suppose people might prefer it.

Anyway, self-extract rar archives can be opened with winrar as well. I will not use 7zip but WinRAR so everyone will be happy, hopefully.

Well the new non D2SE patch downloads I made were made with winrar as self extracting zip format. I got rid of the subfolder thing so it should install a lot smoother now.

some installation instuctions when the final patch is released for download would be cool too! I know myself and few others had some problems with the recent patches (PC n00b) lol

I personally have voted Rar simply because I'm used to it, .Zip is the easiest and most user friendly for everyone, and will also avoid a whole lot of nagging on the forums for those who're unable to download a .exe file because of virusscanners, and those who don't know what WinRaR is, or where to download it.

Perhaps Zip is the better option since it's defaulted into the windows shell, and doesn't block with Virusscanners.
