hello guys, havent played HU in ages (probably 3-4 years) im want to start again here. Just need some help on how to install the latest version running (is it beta 2 ?). Dont care which one I just wanna play the version everybodys playing atm. Need to know what to do after fresh install + applying 1.10 vanilla patch. Do I install 1.13a ? do I have to run d2mod setup if yes when? do I have to run d2 with hell unleashed.exe things like that As much detail as possible would help |

try to run the hu.reg file usually solves that problem |

didnt work. I can see the reg file worked because under battle.net it says arimyth as the server to which im connecting.. dont know what to do |

Tried installing just the mod without D2SE and it did the same thing.. |

hmm I think I had about the same problem when I started a couple months ago and I solved it by downloading a bnetgateway editor. But that wont work if you use D2SE... Seriously dont get the bnetgateway editor if you're using D2SE because that will fuck shit up a lot. At least it did for me. um, could it maybe be that you have to open a port in your router or something? Maybe there was something wrong when you ran D2ModSetup, try running it again. I'm just guessing here... You might want to post this in tech support forum part, maybe ppl are more likely to help you there. |

Are you sure you're running version 1.10 of Diablo: LoD? The default downloadable Diablo 2 from Blizzard's site is 1.12 basic iirc. |

base version shouldnt be the problem, cause that doesnt matter for d2se... did you ever use a gateway editor? if yes, you need to use it again to switch your gateway to arimyth |

thx for all the help. what gateway editor did for me is I can only connect to the server I chose as 'set to chosen'.. even if I go for like uswest server and useast is chosen its still gonna connect to useast. So I manually typed arimyth server address and voila! |
