The patch should be resetting over the weekend imo. The HC community is all but dead. And i see very few SC players on when im on. Obviously there are some diligent people testing some things but still.

Have you guys been contributing to helping test things? Can't ask for a reset without testing everything first.. that's the whole point of the beta. Would really suck halfway in the ladder to find a serious bug that can't be fixed w/o another reset, wouldn't it? Got to test everything.

Do you really think they are gonna find every bug in a 2 week span? Especially when its only a handful of people doing it? I for one haven't done much testing beyond the initial hi res testing as it really doesn't matter to me. Bugs are gonna exist.. No amount of amateur testing is gonna solve every single one.

IMO you should just reset this weekend and hotfix any problems that arise.

Been testing as much as possible on single player when I have time. Haven't caught anything earth shattering that wasn't posted etc.

we've done a bit of testing on sp and that is why there has been some updates on the patch. other than the resolution and aggro change the rest should be ok, nothing huge.

the test phase has been very helpful with the resolution and aggro changes. there has been work too on optional resolution which has been very productive. i believe we are on course for a full reset on september 2.

1 thing i ask is some more testing on soulmancer. that is the one thing i think needs some more checks.

ok baerk, pious etc, can we please make a solid release date and stick to it? give people say 1 week to make more decisions then 2 weeks to test those decisions and whatever hasnt been fixed since then will likely be small problems? me and possibly a few other people are getting fed up with how long this "quickfix" update is taking. not because it is taking a while but because nothing is set in gold, we need a proper patch date that we stick to.

sure we may have to do TINY updates next patch from things that have not been fixed but its not like ur changing any more items are you? so those little problems that get fixed later will not need another reset will they? again i dont know much if anything about modding so these are actual questions not attacks lol :)

Well the High Res was a major addition so it actually needed a bit of time to properly work out. Besides... It seems the melee balance isn't quite there yet either which is a major issue in itself.

Apparently melee balance is fine as it is, so just release it. I wanna tear shit to shreds like 1.21z but safer.

+1.. It will stay that way until they stop balancing around a 60% + Amp.
