Kinda random question. But since my druid just got wtf counter owned.

Does Extra Strong affect his counterspam Nado dmg? Cuz it sure looked like it did. Took a Counter/Mind Blast combo and poof 14k life down the drain.

And Ive never had problems in the past. Nor was I amp'd/Decrp'd

Well i have been experience some wtf imba counters wich has removed my 17 k hp i almost one hit with my fire druid.

Dont know what causes this, but looks kinda random and unbalanced.

When shit like that 1 hit my druid, i am just wtf..

The Guardian doesn't cast nado or twister. I believe his counter is the charged bolt catapult. Fireball, Mind Blast(x2), FingerMageSpider(the mana drain), and Lightning Fury are his other skills. The txt files says Mind Blast twice in his skill list but I've never seen him use it ever, which leads me to believe MB=Shock Wave.

It was probably his LF that did you in that fast. Was there a lot of minions&players around? Even with max lit resist he can 1hit on a lucky LF. All his other skills lack the power to 1hitKO in my experience.

It sounds like light fury with minions around, since it has no next hit delay, with say 15 minions around, you can be hit with all 15 bolts at once if you aint carefull.

Its very possible it was lf however it was just me and oak. Minions and such were dead and that seems disturbing to me that it can do that much. Ben ive seen the mind blast. It almost gt my zon b4

ah, he was extra strong? The initial hit is based on the users physical damage so that would have probs hurt quite a bit yeh.

Ah yeah now the dots are connecting. That was probably it Kev. Silly me thinking i could deflect a lightning spell with lightning resistance :P

There is more a danger from the physical attribute of lightening fury; as lightening fury applies the full physical damage of what their melee attack would be in addition to the bonus lightening damage.

So an extra strong guardian with multi-shot lightening fury; if he scores 3 physical hits with all 3 lightening furies he's pretty much melee hitting you 3 times at once + all that extra lightening damage. For sure that's the most dangerous attack the Guardian has. Extra strong is randomly applied sometimes in nightmare and hell; not pre-set.

Extra strong + extra fast + cursed aka extradick is the best thing you can get on melee boss while playing thorners (summoners).
Also Lfury is easily avoided, he uses it as a ranged skill when he can't get close to you, don't be afraid to cast 1000 summons to tank him.

It's an old pic of my fire druid doing hell baal solo(with a3 lightning merc) - Guard was tanked by summons casted on his back, used maybe 2 juvs cuz mana burn missiles are annoying. He teled just before dying, that's why he's near me, but notice wolfs/bear position.

Hmm suppose that is why I was able to solo him in hell with my summon druid.
