| Post subject: | why is arduals amulet so rare? |
can someone explain this? is it because it pops the evil force name? 2 friends who run hell leo alot have found atmas and rising sun numerous times but no arduals. what might be the reason for this? |

Maybe its rarity is wrong set(too low)? There are few unique ammus in game so unlikely other items the game have to choose which uniq that will be if one drops. Funny note is you can have only 1 uniq dropped per game(shards/quest items can drop multiply). I just love when ppl ask me why I do leo runs before main MF or say that they got 2 tyraels in one game, or wonder why bosses drop rare items - No it doesn't take to know how to mod to answer these things. It's just logic. Unique. |

so like i know the whole "only 1 unique per game" thing but im pretty sure its differant for hu, i'm pretty sure ive found multiple uniques of the same item in norm/nm =o stuff like ravenclaws , composite bows, etc etc. could be wrong, maybe ive smoked one too many joints, but if i remember correctly ive found multiples in 2 game |

you can get 1 unique item per game - I've heard you can get eth and non eth but it's just a rumor. So basically if leo drops nagel + manald you won't get them from cow king aka better chance for conc ring, another secret less  Edit: ee, I said previously per game not overall, sorry if I didn't make it clear, 100 manalds I had too in 100 diff games. |

im curious of what the rarity is compared to say mara/familiars with that amulet. ive seen only 1 arduals on hc and know of only 1 more but seen many marah/familiars so far. who would know the rarity? and i like that secret steel. aslong as it is true

i have 2 arduals i think. On a a5 merc so he casts lr for me. But i meant in one game. I'm85% sure i've found more than one manald per game. Same with dwarf star. But I'll keep an eye out for this just in case and report back when i can. |

http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/2840/rarity.jpg Here's a screenie - Aldural rarity is way too low, for example maras and atma is set to 5 and manald, dwarf,shock(on screen) to 10. If you had only 2 amus in HU you would find 5 maras before a single aldural. Also on screen - nolimit column, I hope you'll figure it out what that means. |
